The Gathering Cruise 2013

In July Sprit will participate in the Gathering Cruise from Kinsale to Glandore

Glandore Classic Regatta

Spirit of Oysterhaven Trust will be organising a number of voyages in conjunction with members of Oysterhaven’s “Classic Crew” and members of the Kinsale Yacht Club “Access Class” as part of a Youth Initiative Programme.

West Cork Sailing

These 5 day voyages for 18 - 25 year olds will depart from Oysterhaven on Monday, anchoring overnight in West Cork harbours such as Glandore, Castletownsend, Baltimore, Schull and Crookhaven, taking in a trip around the Fastnet and a night’s sail back to Oysterhaven, finishing up on Friday.

Learning the Ropes

The day long or week-end cruises are intended for adults who wish to enjoy some relaxing cruising along the coast and learn some basic crewing skills, such as raising and lowering sails, operating winches, and steering the boat. Week-end cruises will include an overnight anchor in either Kinsale or Glandore with a trip ashore to a local restaurant.
