SAILING AT OYSTERHAVEN

 

We provide courses for adults on weekday evenings and on saturdays, and courses for youths from monday to friday during June, July and August. Private Tuition available for both youths and adults by appointment.

 

Oysterhaven’s Sheltered bays, access to open water, friendly instruction and a wide range of sailing dinghies provide the ideal environment for learning to sail. Our Sailing Courses at The Oysterhaven Centre are modeled on the Irish Sailing Association’s new small boat sailing scheme.

 

Our large and versatile dinghy fleet - Topaz Unos, Omegas and RS Fevas have all been selected to provide the widest sailing experience and to maximise your enjoyment of learning new skills in safe and stimulating environment.

 

Our method of teaching combines three essential factors to deliver you faster and easier progress:

• You and your needs are the focus of our training.
• You will learn at your own preferred pace and be coached by friendly and experienced instructors.
• You will be provided with the latest models of dinghies  appropriate for your size and level of skill.
