WINDSURFING > YOUTH WINDSURFING COURSES

The Oysterhaven Centre specialises in running 5 day Windsurfing courses for children between the ages of 11 - 18 years. Our 5 day courses provide participants with an excellent opportunity to learn and develop their skills with a teaching approach that is both friendly and fun ! Our enthusiastic windsurfing instructors ensure that participants have a great time learning to windsurf while aiming to attain a qualification awarded by the Irish Sailing Association.

You quickly learn the skills to get you going - counterbalance, starting, turning and getting back! Using wide stable boards and lightweight rigs, windsurfing has never been easier or more fun!

Windsurfing Go 4 It!

Feel the thrill of planing across the water ! In stronger winds you will learn to use the harness and footstraps and in lighter winds you will develop freestyle techniques and fine tune your rig.

As you progress through the different skills learning at your own pace and recording your progress in your personal logbook and you will quickly master the techniques that enable you to tack and gybe in strong winds.
