Data Protection

At the Oysterhaven Centre, we take our obligations to protect your personal data very seriously. Please carefully read the following and confirm your consent where appropriate.

How We Use Your Data (Please refer to Privacy Statement)
We use personal data about you (such as your name, email address and contact details) when you complete a Booking Form. We will use your personal data for the purpose of responding to your booking and dealing with the details of your booking. In order to complete your booking it may be necessary to disclose certain data to third parties (such as a credit card company in order to process the payment).

We will never sell your personal data to third parties. Each time we send you an Oysterhaven Centre SMS or email, we will give you the option to stop future communication by the same means and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Also, you can email [email protected] to inform us that you no longer wish to receive SMS or email communication from us.

Covid -19 Protocols

Every care has been taken to minimise the possibility of the spread of infection of Covid-19. Specific operating procedures have been introduced by external Health and Safety professionals in order to limit contact between participants and promote best hygiene practice on site.  We have also implemented guidelines issued by 

• Irish Sailing, the National Governing Body.

• HSE/HPSC guidelines as per Infection Prevention and Control guidance for settings providing childcare during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

We draw the attention of all Applicants to the introduction to this document which states: “ It is important for parents to accept that no interpersonal activity is without risk of transmission of infection at any time. Generally speaking the closer the physical contact, the more likely infection is to spread from one person to another. There are particular issues with small children because they tend to put things in their mouths and naturally seek very close contact with caregivers and other children.” 

I undertake to complete the Symptom Checker and email it to the Centre prior to arrival at the start of the course. I further undertake to notify the centre if my child(ren) develop symptoms during the week.
