Kit Hire Available from May 2023
We have a range of windsurfing sails and boards so you can practise and progress your skills. In order to rent windsurfing rigs you will need to have completed a lesson and be able to turn the board and self resue.
Supervised from land by a trained instructor with a rescue craft available.
Minimum age 12
€20 per windsurfing rig for 1 hour.
All Kit Hire equipment is half price for any subsequent hour.
Buoyancy aids and Lifejackets are included in rental price.
Wetsuits are €5 and are not included in the rental price. They can be added at checkout.

- Old shoes/Water shoes to wear on the water.
We provide wetsuits and buoyancy aids however participants may wear their own.
Will there be an instructor with me on the water?
No. There will be an instructor on land who will outline the rental area. If you are looking for a windsurfing lesson please book here.
Do I need to have previous Sailing Experience?
In order to rent windsurfing equipment it is required for the particiant to be able to control and turn the rig and self rescue. To book in for a lesson to learn how to windsurf or to gain more experience please book here.
Do I need to be able to swim?
Swimming is not required to hire out kit. We provide lifejackets to those who aren't confident swimmers and buoyancy aids for those who are. We do recommend a strong water confidence for windsurfing.
